MY WORK

Build upwards, plan ahead

I designed the building rules, mobile interface, and first play session. Separate presentations describe the core gameplay loop and tutorial.

01 / 05

Growth and balance

Each turn offers three random building options. Yellow housing increases population; other colors support services and culture. Players must score points, conserve space, and keep indicators above critical levels.

Creating room to grow

A platform needs four supporting buildings of equal height, with no taller buildings between them. Building it opens space above, but also makes the floor below harder to fill. That turns each placement into a decision about future space.

Viewing a growing city

I designed swipe controls for quarter-turn rotations and movement between floors. The selected building is highlighted, and warnings appear when indicators reach critical levels.

Mobile interface

I placed building choices, city indicators, and population beside the playfield. The game, menus, and settings share the same color system.

First play session
05 / 05

First play session

The tutorial starts on a prepared playfield: rotate the scene, choose a building, and place it in a highlighted spot. The player then builds a platform and tries working across several floors before reaching the menu and choosing a nickname.
